Learning Support:

The Learning Support Unit comprises a team of Learning Support Teachers and Education Assistants who provide support in the classroom or in the Learning Support Room for students with special needs. Many of these students are on Curriculum Adjustment Plans which assist them accessing the mainstream curriculum while some students have Individual Education Plans suited to their specific needs. In conjunction with consultants at the Catholic Education office, the Learning Excellence Department maintains these support structures and services as well as provides reports for those on Individual Plans. It is also available to the general student in need of classroom support through referral by the classroom teacher.
