Emmanuel, over the years, has developed an extremely strong sporting culture.
Emmanuel Catholic College is committed to offering a large range of sporting opportunities for all of our students. There is a mixture of 7 week long seasons for our junior students, known as Southern Associated Schools Junior (SASJ). This is a competition where students have the opportunity to play against nearby schools, such as Corpus Christi, Seton Catholic College and Kennedy Baptist College.
This competition is played on a Wednesday afternoon throughout term 1 and term 2 and the sports that are played are:
- Netball
- Basketball
- Cricket
- Touch Rugby
- Soccer

Emmanuel is involved in many other competitions run by other organisations, such as School Sport WA, WACA and WAFC football.
There are three major competitive events on our College calendar, Swimming, Athletics and Cross Country. Students represent their houses in these carnivals and are selected to represent Emmanuel at the Associated Catholic Colleges competition based on their results. The ACC competitions, are a grouping of over 80 Catholic and Independent Secondary Schools from around the state. This provides extensive opportunities for students across all year groups to become involved in many different sports.
