Year 7 & 8

Year 7 & 8

Year 7 is the vital entry year and transition to secondary schooling at Emmanuel. Over the last five years the College has refined their hybrid model for Year 7's, which is a combination of primary and secondary school elements with a core group of Teachers who ensure students' transition into the Secondary model is a very smooth and supportive one. Classes are not streamed in Year 7.

The 2018 Year 7 Parent Information Night Presentation is located here.

Years 8 the emphasis is on developing sound study and organisational routines. Some classes are streamed and in Year 8 Examinations become part of the normal academic routine at the end of first and second semester in preparation for Examinations thereafter. Students are also able to choose from an extensive range of electives to complement their compulsory subjects.

The 2018 Year 8 Parent Information Night Presentation is located here.
