Terms and Conditions for The Emmanuel Catholic College P&F Association Tuition Raffle 2022

Lottery Permit
The Emmanuel Catholic College P&F Tuition Raffle 2022 (Raffle) is being conducted pursuant to Lottery Permit LS219156422 [issued by the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries under the Gaming and Wagering Commission Act 1987].  The Permit is held by Sonja Matthes, Business Manager, on behalf of Emmanuel Catholic College (ABN: 73 382 297 575) of 122 Hammond Road, Success, WA 6164 (Emmanuel Catholic College) to conduct and promote the Lottery in Western Australia.  Lottery Permit Holder: Sonja Matthes, Business Manager, Emmanuel Catholic College, 9414 4000.

Promotion Period
Raffle begins Friday 28 October 2022 at 00:01 AWST.  Final ticket sales close Tuesday 22 November 2022 at 2359 AWST (unless sold out prior to this time).  Draw date will be Thursday 24 November 2022 at 1000 AWST at Emmanuel Catholic College.

Terms and Conditions
Purchasers must be 18 years or older.  Only 500 tickets at $30 each will be sold.  There is no limit on the number of tickets that can be purchased by each individual Purchaser (subject to the overall ticket limit of 500).  Proceeds from the sale of the Raffle tickets will go towards the fitout of the commercial kitchen in the new Home Economics building.  The winner will be notified in writing and the names of the winner will be published on the Emmanuel Catholic College App, on Friday 25 November 2022 and on the Emmanuel Catholic College Facebook and Instagram. The Raffle draw is subject to a required minimum number of tickets being sold, as determined by Emmanuel Catholic College P&F Association. If the required minimum number of tickets are not sold by the closing date, the Raffle will be cancelled and all ticket monies refunded in full to the Purchaser (minus booking fee), subject to the approval of and any conditions imposed by the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries.

Main Draw
Assuming all tickets are sold, each ticket has a one in 500 chance of winning one of two prizes.  Prizes are listed on the College website www.emmanuel.wa.edu.au.  Prizes are not transferable or redeemable in cash.

First Prize:  The prize value is $5,000 in Tuition Fees only, for the 2023 WA school year.  The sum of $5,000 (Tuition Fees) will be credited to the 2023 account of the winner’s choosing.  The account must be that of a student attending Emmanuel Catholic College in 2023.  Any remaining funds in the student account at the end of 2023 can be rolled over to subsequent years.  Unused balances cannot be redeemed for cash and are not refundable in any portion.  If the winner so chooses, the prize may be donated to the College for contribution to the Emmanuel Catholic College P&F Association fund to be allocated at the Emmanuel Catholic College P&F Association’s discretion.

Second Prize:  The prize value is $300 in the form of a voucher to Lakes Bikes. This voucher can only be picked up by the winner from the Emmanuel Catholic College Reception by Wednesday 14 December 2022.

Third Prize:  The prize value is $250 in the form of a voucher to Emmanuel Catholic College Uniform Shop. This voucher can only be picked up by the winner from the Emmanuel Catholic College Reception by Wednesday 14 December 2022.

Conduct of Draw
The prize draw will be conducted by a representative of Emmanuel Catholic College at the Whole School Assembly on Thursday 24 November 2022, by means of a barrel draw.  Unclaimed prizes will be dealt with in accordance with the procedures set out in the Gaming and Wagering Commission Act 1987 (WA).  Refunds:  Refunds can only be processed prior to the date of the prize draw.  Requests for refunds will need written approval of the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries.  This process may take a number of weeks.  Refunds cannot be issued after the prize draws.  Changes:  Where it is lawful to do so, these Terms and Conditions may be updated to address any errors or to clarify information and re-published online at www.emmanuel.wa.edu.au or otherwise as required by the requirements of the Permit or the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries.  Excluded Purchasers:  Tickets must not be purchased by the Lottery Permit Holder.  During the conduct of a draw, if the Emmanuel Catholic College Representative (or delegate) conducting the draw determines that the Lottery Permit Holder is a prize winner, then the relevant prize will be re-drawn.  If the Emmanuel Catholic College Representative (or delegate) determines after the conclusion of the draw but before a prize has been collected that the Lottery Permit Holder is a prize winner, then the excluded purchaser will not be entitled to collect the prize.

The decision of the Emmanuel Catholic College P&F Association (or delegate) will be final and binding.

By participating in the Emmanuel Catholic College P&F Association Tuition Raffle 2022, you are deemed to accept the Terms and Conditions set out in this document.
