This Term the generous nature of the Emmanuel community was on display through the annual Vinnies Christmas Appeal. Families donated large amounts of food and Christmas supplies to provide support to families who are experiencing troubling times, particularly during the Christmas period. 2020 has seen more families than ever experience poverty and it is a delight to see the ECC community band together to assist those in need.
These supplies will be made into Christmas hampers and delivered to thousands of families across Western Australia by the St. Vincent de Paul’s Society. I thank the students, staff and families of Emmanuel for their support and generosity during this time and I look forward to this continuing throughout our donation drives throughout 2021.
