Year 10 KINGS Football Academy students competed at the ACC Division 1 AFL Carnival yesterday. The day began with convincing wins over Sacred Heart College and CBC Fremantle. The boys then took down Mater Dei College, setting our final game as the decider for the championship against Mandurah Catholic College.
It was a tight tussle in the final game with Mandurah Catholic leading for the majority. The team dug in and found some extra strength in the final 10 minutes to run over the top and win by 1 point!
It is a credit to all involved for their effort throughout the day, playing with such sportsmanship. They have been crowned champions of the top division!
